Which day is the Sabbath?

2 Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.

Isaiah 58:13-14
13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:
14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

Since most churches observe Sunday as their day of rest and worship, many people assume that Sunday is the Sabbath.

BECAUSE....

During the reign of Emperor Hadrian (A.D. 117-135), who harshly persecuted Jews throughout the Roman Empire. Hadrian specifically prohibited practices of Judaism, including observance of the seventh-day Sabbath. Since most churches observe Sunday as their day of rest and worship, many people assume that Sunday is the Sabbath.

You Need to know what took place. Emperor Hadrian who harshly persecuted Jews...specifically prohibited practices Seventh-day Sabbath.Emperor Hadrian is dead and gone..But Our God Live Today... God Took It Back,,, !!!So we have the chance now to honor God wishes.

These measures influenced many early Christians in Rome to abandon the seventh day and turn to Sunday, the day for honoring the sun god among the Romans and other peoples of the ancient world.

If you not doing Biblical Sabbath you are honoring not our God.. you are honoring the sun god among the Romans and other peoples of ancient world.

Due To The Roman Empire... many among the church began to abandon these practices, including observance of the Biblical Sabbath And Festivals.

Now The Roman Emperor Constantine his own hatred of Jews and religious practices he considered Jewish.

He worship the sun, was the first emperor to profess belief in Christianity.Constantine endorsed was already considerably different from that practiced by Jesus and the apostles.

Since most churches observe Sunday as their day of rest and worship, many people assume that Sunday is the Sabbath.

But Did You Know These Facts:

At the Council of Nicea (A.D. 325), church authorities essentially banned the biblical Passover observance.

Endorsing this change, Constantine announced: “It appeared an unworthy thing that … we should follow the practice of the Jews, who have impiously defiled their hands with enormous sin, and are, therefore, deservedly afflicted with blindness of soul … Let us then have nothing in common with the detestable Jewish crowd” (Eusebius, Life of Constantine 3, chapter 18, quoted in Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers, 1979, Vol. 1, pp. 524-525).

Question??? What is the 7th day of the week?

Exodus 20:10
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

Less confused and more clearly...Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.

Matt 28:1 “Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.”

Mark 16:2 “Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.”

What Is The Sabbath

A day of religious observance and abstinence from work, kept by Jews and by most Christians.from Friday evening to Saturday evening.

Sabbath is a day set aside for rest and worship. According to Exodus the Sabbath is a day of rest on the seventh day, commanded by God to be kept as a holy day of rest, as God rested from creation.

Exodus 31:13
“You are to speak to the people of Israel and say, ‘Above all you shall keep my Sabbaths, for this is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I, the Lord, sanctify you.

Exodus 20:8-11
“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

Isaiah 58:13
“If you turn back your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight and the holy day of the Lord honorable; if you honor it, not going your own ways, or seeking your own pleasure, or talking idly;
Looking at calendar above..first of the week is Sunday 3,10,17,24,and 31 and Saturday Seventh days weeks is 2,9,18,23.and 30...First and Seventh.

God commanded that the seventh day be observed as the Sabbath.  According to God’s calendar, the seventh day is and always has been the Sabbath day.

Question??? What is the 5th day of the week?

The change from Sabbath to Sunday is not found anywhere in the Bible. It was made long after the writing of the New Testament.

If You Not Doing Biblical Sabbaths And Festivals. You Are Not Honoring  God.. you are honoring the sun god among the Romans and other peoples of ancient world.

Footnote

Jesus is our savior not our sabbath...Mark 2:27

27 Then he said to them, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. The son of man is a man / God created the sabbath for his rest / Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

Jesus Die to set us free from sin that was his purpose...

Matthew 5:17-20 17"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.

19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.
