The Ark of the Covenant Was Hidden At Calvary

The Ark of the Covenant Was Hidden At Calvary

The Ark of the Covenant  ( Mercy Seat ) was where God would dwell.

Isaiah 55:8-9
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.

9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

We now know that the blood and water traveled down through the crack in the rock and was deposited on the top of the Ark, onto the Mercy Seat.

When Jesus died at Calvary there was a great earthquake, that the “rocks were rent” (Matthew 27:50,51). The rending of that rock created a fissure that communicated between the top of the cross hole that held the cross of Jesus and the top of the cave chamber where the Ark of the Covenant was hidden.
Shortly after His death (and the rending of the rock) a soldier stuck a spear into Jesus’ side to determine whether He was dead. When that happened the apostle John records that blood and water flowed from His side.

The Ark of the Covenant served as a religious symbol where the people could meet with God. He hovered over the Ark when the priests were present. If the priests were absent, the presence of the law tablets reflected God’s presence ....The Ten Commandments. Deep In My Heart I Believe God Wrote His Commandments For His People To Live By Them For Ever...

Acts 2:16-19
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

It was built with pure gold and with the same dimensions in length and breadth as the Ark. one cherubim of gold on both ends of the mercy seat. It was important to have the cherubim have their wings spread and facing one another, symbolizing the angels’ attention and readiness to do God’s will.

Contents of the Ark of the Covenant...
Contained the gold jar of manna, Aaron’s staff that had budded, and the stone tablets of the covenant.”

The blood of sprinkling" represents the pains, the sufferings, the humiliation, and the death of the Lord Jesus Christ, which he endured on the behalf of guilty man

1 Timothy 2:5,6 we read the following:

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

It is important the words of verse 6, to be testified in due time indicates that there was a “testimony” about something relating to Christ’s sacrifice that had not taken place at the time this was written.

Waiting for a more appropriate time was going to be used as a testimony to the world. I believe that this testimony is the revealing of one of the many biblical archaeology discoveries of Ron Wyatt specifically the Ark of the Covenant.

This brings us to the subject of the bringing out of the Ark of the Covenant so that it can be displayed to the world. There is no doubt in my mind that the Ark will be revealed to the world one day,

The reason for this is found in the very manner that God has used it at Calvary. The Ark of the Covenant has “recorded” on it the physical evidence that God will use to witness to the world that His Son died to give us eternal life 1 John 5:6-11.

1 John 5:6-11

6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

Jesus is our high priest...

Hebrews 9:7
7 But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:

John 19:34
34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.

An Atoning Sacrifice..Leviticus 16.

In doing this the high priest was bringing “before the Lord” the evidence that an atoning sacrifice had been made that the price for sin has been paid. On the strength of the acceptance of this sacrifice, Israel and the sanctuary were cleansed of sin

Romans 6:23

23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord

In Ezekiel's vision of the Temple

Ezekiel 47:1
47 Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.

Christ is our High Priest offering himself as a burnt offering consumed in the flames of the Spirit. in a surpassing way by draining the rest of his blood at the base of his altar. when he pours down upon us his blood, he pours down upon us his very life.

2 Corinthians 4:7
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Matthew 27:50-51
50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

John 5:19
19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

Hebrews 12:24
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

It is believed the Ark was destroyed during the destruction of Jerusalem at the hands of King Nebuchadnezzar.

Unfortunately It Did Not Happen...God Time Is His Own..

Ronald Eldon Wyatt June 1933 – August 1999  founded of the lost Ark Covenant... was an adventurer...

Learn the amazing story of how and where the Ark of the Covenant was found, what it means and when the world gets to see the Ten Commandments.

You can read much more on Ron Wyatt's website here.

YOU ASK WHY OTHER DID NOT SEEK THE ART COVENANT?

Ron Wyatt also stated that he knows that of over 10 people that later tried to enter the room where the Ark was placed and that they were all were killed!   Clearly God does not want the Ark disturbed from its resting place.
